By accessing or using this website, or by placing an order with Brazen Lot, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Brazen Lot is an Australian business selling candles and related goods within Australia only. All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

2. Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion, including where products are unavailable, pricing errors occur, or fraudulent activity is suspected.

Once accepted, you will receive an order confirmation via email.

By placing an order, you consent to receive transactional communications from us electronically.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase

  • Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect confirmed orders

Payments are processed securely via Shopify Payments and Afterpay.
If you choose Afterpay, your purchase will be subject to Afterpay’s terms and conditions, available at afterpay.com.

4. Shipping

We currently ship within Australia only.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, weather events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Risk in the goods passes to you once the order has been delivered to the address provided. Brazen Lot is not responsible for delays or loss resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information supplied at checkout.

5. Returns, Refunds & Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Because our products are candles and fragrances:

  • Change-of-mind returns are not accepted once a candle has been opened or used

  • We may request photos or additional information to assess claims

For purchases made using Afterpay, approved refunds will be processed back to Afterpay, who will then update your payment schedule accordingly.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the ACL.

6. Product Use & Safety

Our candles are intended for normal household use only. Always follow the care and safety instructions provided with your product.

Brazen Lot is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from misuse, failure to follow safety instructions, or use contrary to reasonable care.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, imagery, branding, product names, and designs, is owned by or licensed to Brazen Lot and protected under Australian intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Brazen Lot is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our products. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier delays, weather events, or supply disruptions.

9. Privacy

We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
